Privacy Policy

Fileitz is a tool that helps web designers and agencies collect content from their clients. It is operated by Grandfield Media Private Limited ("we"). This policy says what we keep, why, and what you can do about it.
Two kinds of people use Fileitz
Account holders (usually designers or agencies) create projects and checklists. Their clients open a private project link and add content. For client content, the account holder decides what is collected and why; we store and process it on their behalf.
What we store
For account holders: email, name, business name, password hash or Google identity, timezone, and the projects and checklists you create. For each project: the client's name and email (if you add them), the text and files the client provides, and an activity log of who did what and when.
What we never ask for
Government ID numbers, card numbers or bank credentials. Please don't put passwords you use elsewhere into a checklist.
How we use it
To run the service: show projects to their owner, show the checklist to whoever holds its link, send the invite and reminder emails the account holder switches on, and tell the account holder when content arrives. We don't sell data or use it for advertising.
Who else processes it
Our hosting provider (Hetzner, Germany) stores the data and files; our email provider (Resend) delivers emails. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
Until the account holder deletes the project or their account. Deleting a project removes its items and files. Backups roll over within 30 days.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data. Clients who want content removed should ask the designer who sent the link, or write to us and we'll help.
